The person behind the library

I build the sites, and I run the server they live on.

I am Joseph W. Anady. ThatWebHostingGuy is the hosting side of ThatDeveloperGuy, my company in Cassville, MO, in the Ozarks.

This library exists so I can stop sending people a list of links. Every site I build goes onto my own server under its own address. Every six hours the server walks through all of them by itself: it records each one moving on a desktop screen, photographs it on a phone, and catalogues it in the right collection. When a site changes, its preview changes with it. When a demo moves to its owner's own domain, it moves to the Gone live wing.

What is in the collection

Most of the work was built for real businesses: roofers, counselors, bakeries, mechanics, realtors and many more. Some pieces are style studies and experiments, built to see how far a browser can go. At the center are the five sites my own work runs through, with feedthejoe.com in the middle.

Every book opens a view of the real website, with a direct link for sites that do not allow previews. Use it on your phone, poke at it, see how it feels. That is the point.

How I like to work

You see a working demo of your own site before you decide anything. If you like it, it moves to your domain and stays on this server, looked after by the same person who built it and who answers your email.
